#141 [Follow Jesus in Your Real Life (and Help Others Do It Too)] with Yolanda Solomon

Have you ever wondered how to actually follow Jesus in your real life?

Do you know if you're following Christ or following the culture?

Does discipleship sound way too hard?

Yolanda Solomon, author of Discipleship as Holy Collaboration: Helping Others Follow Jesus in Real Life, is on the show today to help us answer some of these questions.

You’ll hear us talk about…

  • Following Jesus without being a weirdo

  • Discipleship as a group project – holy collaboration

  • Following culture or following Christ

Yolanda M. Solomon is the director of discipleship at Epiphany Church in Brooklyn, New York, where she teaches and creates discipleship curriculum and resources. She has also worked in campus ministry at Columbia University in New York, where she was blessed to serve undergraduate students for seven years.

Yolanda is a disciple of Christ, a Brooklyn native, and a lifelong Knicks fan, which richly fuels her prayer life. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
