Katie Jones is joining me today to share about money management skills that are rooted in the gospel. She talks about her journey with her own personal finances, learning about money management, and struggling to reconcile the financial principles she was learning with her faith.
Katie and I talk about aligning our money goals with God’s purpose and plan for our lives. She gives us some great questions to ask like, “Why am I pursuing _____? Do I really need the next new thing? Do my purchases reflect my calling?”
Katie gives us some examples of what the bible says about money, plus some practical ways we can align our money goals with our primary purpose: to love God and love others.
Katie is a faith-based money coach with Agape Investing, where she helps equip young professionals with excellent money management skills that are rooted in the gospel so they can start living abundantly, giving generously, and radically advancing the kingdom of God. Katie is also a real estate agent and investor and loves to help people get financially stable in order to buy their first, or next house. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado where she enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains with her husband.
